| We are more than just a football
camp. We are a College Football Preparatory Camp that focuses
on preparing high school players to have the best possible shot at
playing the next level. That consists of two areas of
preparation:
I. We will prepare student-athletes to excel on the field by
teaching position-specific skills.
II. We will help student-athletes get recruited and prepare them
to handle it the right way.
The information that we provide about recruiting is invaluable
and you can't find another camp that has the wealth of knowledge
that we are willing to pass on to high school football players. With
college football recruiting, it's not all about what happens on the
field, it's about the way you handle the recruiting process.
Let us help prepare you for your best shot at a College Football
Scholarship!
At CFP Football Camp, student-athletes will receive
individualized position specific instruction in football skills and
instruction in recruiting from former collegiate athletes. The
CFP staff consists of football players that have been through the
recruiting process and have played Division 1 College Football.
Each camp session consists of two Phases: The Football Skills
Coaching Phase & The Recruiting Coaching Phase.
Phase I:
Phase I is the Football Skills Coaching Phase. During this
phase, student-athletes will receive position-specific skill work
with a former collegiate athlete that played the position.
Campers will also get to apply the skills learned in the
position-specific skill work when position groups come together for
Routes Versus Air, 1-on-1 Drills, Interior Line Work, and Line Pass
Protection and Rush. The Football Skills Coaching Phase will
not be physically demanding. The focus is on improving skills
and translating them to the field, not to physically wear down the
Campers.
Phase II:
Phase II is the Recruiting Coaching Phase. The CFP staff
will provide student-athletes and parents with an unlimited amount
of resources regarding the recruiting process and their potential
future. Every session we will have an open panel of CFP staff
that will cover specific recruiting topics and allow for parents and
student-athletes to ask questions and gain valuable information.
We will also help provide each student-athlete with a CFP evaluation
of strengths, weaknesses, and realistic expectations for college
destinations. This includes a confidential rating system,
where we provide each student-athlete with a D-1, D-2, or D-3 grade
that can be improved through our on-the-field coaching.
Additionally, JumpForward has teamed up with CFP as its Official
Recruiting Partner. A staff-member from JumpForward will be on
hand to provide added expertise regarding gaining exposure to
college football programs across the country.
